God so simply states in, Dueteronomy 6:5, "And thou shalt love the LORD thy God with all thine heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy might."
"O my soul, love your God!"
So many time our souls as desperate human beings turn to earthly desires to fill our need for love. But it really comes down to loving God with ALL our soul. God didn't ask, but commanded us too.
Don't get me wrong. I too, struggle with the same thing that I am sharing. We allow the days work to give us an excuse to forsake our MUCH NEEDED time talking with our Heavenly Father. We allow our hearts foolish desires to keep us from what God desires for us. And when our heart and soul is not seeking after the one who created us, it is hard to love others.
